Good morning.🌧️ Today, an exhibition in Madrid allows you to smell the paintings, the Getty acquired a major collection of Black art books and ephemera, and reviews of Candace Lin, Utako Shindo, David Lynch’s new film restoration.

Lori Waxman also makes her debut on Hyperallergic in this edition. A veteran art critic based in Chicago, she will be covering the city’s galleries for the publication.
