Keeping Chickens Safe in Hot Weather

The summer heat is upon us, make sure to monitor your chicken coop's temperatures as they can often get as hot as a parked car. If you can, install fans and have windows to keep air circulating. Try to have the chicken's nests in the shade and keep an eye on them.

Turbo is the love of my life. He is so funny, everyone that sees him just falls in love. He weighs 120 lbs. I would not get rid of him for anything.
Cleaning Out the Cat Litter Box

I'm having the pleasure of keeping my 2 grandcats for a couple of weeks. When Max does his business, he loves to dig deep into the litter box and sometimes the urine sticks to the side and bottom of the box. When trying to remove it, no matter how hard I bang the box on the floor, it does not turn loose.

From a distance this breed appears large and expressive. They have medium-long fur that is soft like a rabbits and begs to be stroked. This is a large breed with males weighing 15 to 20 pounds or more.
