China Southern orders 20 A350-900 aircraft

China Southern Airlines has placed an order for 20 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in an effort to facilitate its rapid international expansion.

Boeing 1Q net profit up 19% to $1.5 billion

Boeing reported a first-quarter 2017 net profit of $1.5 billion, up 18.9% over net income of $1.2 billion in the 2016 March quarter, even as revenue fell 7.3% year-over-year (YOY) to $21 billion.
