Blessings to you and yours!
What was I thinking when I told Spirit I would do whatever it takes to serve others to the best of my ability? Did I have any idea what a high standard I'd be held to?
In the last few days, around the time Chiron was turning retrograde, I've had to face parts of myself that were hiding deep in the shadows. (This newsletter is late because of the time I've needed to work with this.) Dealing with the resulting hours of energy scouring in ceremonial space was no fun at all!
Call me crazy, but I still ask to awaken as deeply as possible and serve others to the fullest extent of my potential. The price I sometimes have to pay is facing unpleasant parts of myself that need to be healed, transformed or unconditionally loved until they align with my aspirations.
I'm profoundly grateful that Spirit allows me to serve others as a facilitator of healing and awakening. But the more I develop my spiritual abilities, the more subtle and tricky the potential pitfalls become.
Perhaps you're also facing difficulties as you move forward on your path of service to others. Please remember that we all face challenges. What's kept me going all these years is sheer perseverance, doing the best I could each step of the way ... and learning to turn over to the divine what was beyond my ego's abilities. The deeper the surrender, the more extraordinary the blessings.
One day, perhaps, we'll be able to rest fully in our divine essence, serving in sublime perfection. Until then, it's one baby step at a time!
