Artist Opportunities - UN x Artivive Call for Artists (Deadline: 31 May 2020): The United Nations is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. To mark this special occasion, the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) and Artivive are launching a call for artists to create posters about peacemaking and peacebuilding, which also utilize augmented reality technology. The selected posters will be printed and prominently displayed for one year in the main UN Secretariat Building in New York. They will also be displayed online on the Artivive website and by other media partners.
- Sustainability First Art Prize (Deadline: 1 June 2020): Sustainability First is inviting original, radical ideas and visions in response to the question: ‘How do we build from the current corona crisis towards a more sustainable future?’
The Sustainability First Art Prize is open to all living British and international artists based in the UK over the age of 18 years. The works must be original, created in any media – including but not limited to painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, video and installation. The winning artist will receive a prize of £1000.
