About the Panelists

Barbara L. Peacock is a spiritual director, author, teacher, and preacher (DMin, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary). She founded Barbara L. Peacock Ministries, a ministry dedicated to discipleship development through prayer, spiritual direction, soul care, mentoring, and teaching. She is the author of IVP book, Soul Care and African American Practice (InterVarsity Press) and also has a course with Seminary Now coming soon!

Dr. Nicole Massie Martin is the Chief Impact Officer for Christianity Today. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Sheâs the author of two books, Made to Lead: Empowering Women for Ministry and Leaning In, Letting Go: A Lenten Devotional. A nationally recognized speaker, Nicole has been inducted into the prestigious Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College.
