| Prague sparkles in every season, but there's something special about winter holidays in the Czech Republic.. Christmas is coming, the most magical holiday of the year. Prague will be filled with the fragrance of festively decorated trees, illuminated with thousands of lights. And if we listen carefully, we're sure to hear the gentle melodies of Christmas carols and the ringing and jingling of bells of all kinds, and with a little luck, a snowflake or two will land on our nose. Once again this year, Advent in Prague will take place without the traditional Christmas markets, the smell of mulled wine from stalls, and friendly gatherings around festively-lit trees in the city's squares. However, we can soak up the Christmas atmosphere just as well when walking through the decorated city with our loved ones. |
