A book
THE RIGHT TO BE LAZY, Paul Lafargue.
“O Laziness, mother of the arts and noble virtues, be thou the balm of human anguish.”
“Our epoch has been called the century of work. It is in fact the century of pain, misery and corruption.”

MAMMA ROMA, Pierre Poalo Posolini.
Anna Magnani is Mamma Roma, a middle-aged prostitute who attempts to extricate herself from her sordid past, for her son. Filmed in the great tradition of Italian neorealism, Mamma Roma offers an unflinching look at the struggle for survival in postwar Italy, and highlights Pier Paolo Pasolini’s lifelong fascination with the marginalized and dispossessed.
