WEB-FIRST REVIEWS OF BOOKS AND MEDIA
The Wanted The Wanted, by Robert Crais, is this week's starred fiction title. "Crais delivers another highly and deeply satisfying page-turner that will please his many fans." In nonfiction, Peter Bogyo's Broadway General Manager: Demystifying the Most Important and Least Understood Role in Show Business is "highly recommended for those considering theater as a career and for those who love theater and want to know more about what goes on before the curtain goes up and after." In audiobooks, The Sixth Victim, by Tessa Harris, is "highly recommended as a strong choice for mystery and historical fiction audiences.... The combination and successful use of two readers, Fiona Hardingham and Gemma Dawson, gives the audiobook a resonance." In graphic novels, Yuki Fumino's debut manga, I Hear the Sunspot, "is a simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking story about the chance meeting and budding romance between two awkward yet lovable male college students." And in e-originals, "steamy light Sub/dom romance" Take Down, by Tara Wyatt and Harper St. George, "will have readers begging for these two conflicted souls to heal each other. Fans of the first in the series, Dirty Boxing, will not want to miss this story, although it can be thoroughly enjoyed as a stand-alone."
