Active EMI Filter

Texas Instruments (TI) has introduced a new family of synchronous DC-DC buck controllers that enable engineers to shrink the size of the power-supply solution and lower its electromagnetic interference (EMI). Featuring an integrated active EMI filter (AEF) and dual-random spread-spectrum (DRSS) technology, the LM25149-Q1 and LM25149 enable engineers to cut the area of the external EMI filter in half, says TI.

1200V MOSFET Modules Meet High Power Density Needs

Infineon Technologies has upgraded its EasyDUAL CoolSiC MOSFET modules with a new aluminum nitride (AIN) ceramic. The devices come in half-bridge configuration with an on-state resistance of 11mΩ in an EasyDUAL 1B package and 6mΩ in an EasyDUAL 2B package (shown). With high-performance ceramic, the 1200 V devices are suitable for high-power density applications.

ABB Power Conversion has announced its new MicroDLynx II DC-DC converters that help meet the power needs of demanding, data-hungry applications, providing highly accurate voltage regulation in a compact, 232-mm-squared footprint—with a power density of 167A/in-squared. Pushing the boundaries of advanced IT and networking devices requires improvements in component density and functionality, says ABB. This equates to designing board-level power modules in ever-shrinking, high density packages.

XP Power has Introduced the HDL3000-HV series of single-phase input 3kW AC-DC power supplies with output voltages from 150V to 400VDC, with up to 800VDC realized by connecting units in series.
