STMicroelectronics has released the STEVAL-NRG011TV, a board that helps designers quickly build 200W digital power supplies and adapters for LED and OLED televisions to exceed the toughest energy-efficiency and standby regulations. The board is based on ST’s STNRG011 digital PFC and resonant LLC converter.

Dialog Semiconductor has announced the release of the DA914X-A product family of efficient, high current, automotive grade, step down DC-DC (Buck) converters. The DA914X-A devices deliver high current levels, up to 40A, a significantly better alternative to power solutions that require a combination of a power controller and discrete FETs, says the company.

Trinamic Motion Control, now part of Maxim Integrated, has introduced the fully integrated TMC6140-LA 3-phase MOSFET gate driver that simplifies design and maximizes battery life of brushless direct current (DC) motor drives. The TMC6140-LA 3-phase MOSFET gate driver integrates all three bottom shunt amplifiers to provide a complete motor drive solution with 30% improved power efficiency.
