Rugged COM Express Card Has Xeon E3-1500 v6
Eurotech has launched a new fanless COM Express module for rugged and HPEC applications. The CPU-162-24 is a COM Express Basic (125x95mm) Type 6 module based on the Intel Xeon E3-1505L v6 and 1505M v6 processors and supports up to 2 DDR4 SO-DIMMs with ECC, for a total capacity of 32GB. The board features an integrated GPU that provides hardware acceleration and up to three simultaneous video outputs.
3 Firms Unveil Carriers for Nvidia XavierNX
D3’s “DesignCore” carrier for Nvidia’s Linux-driven Jetson Xavier NX module supports 12 camera inputs. Meanwhile, Diamond is prepping an NX-ready “Floyd” carrier (shown) and CTI has announced a Quark Carrier that similarly support the NX and Nano.
