Orange Pi 5 Plus has a Rockchip 8-core Processor

Along with many features, the Orange Pi 5 Plus has a Rockchip RK3588 8-core 64-bit processor. There is also a main frequency of up to 2.4GHz, 4GB/8GB/16GB (LPDDR4/4x) memory, and support for the latest 8K video codecs.

The Orange Pi 5 Plus has a quad-core A76 and a quad-core A55, with an 8nm process design. There is an integrated Arm Mali-G610, built-in 3D GPU, and is compatible with OpenGL ES1.1/2.0/3.2, OpenCL 2.2, and Vulkan 1.2.

Embedded Boards are Becoming Mainstream

Circuit Cellar fans, lets talk education and mainstream electronic DIY.

Embedded electronics have never been more popular. The learning platforms that are popping up all over the net, are great ways for new makers to get acquainted with the technology.

Parents, this is an excellent vehicle to bring high-end coding into the student's learning processes.

It builds skills like critical thinking, applying math to everyday tasks, building confidence, and having fun doing all that.

Moonpreneur is a perfect example of a great place to find fun projects. They have something I would recommend looking into the Sania Box, developed by a 13-year-old, in 2019, it is a DIY favorite. It is a awesome learning tool.

Orange Pi, and TinyS3, have great gobs of features and options, to have some fun and learn all at the same time.
