Actility and Advantech Partner in an AI-based Predictive IoT Solution for Rotating Machinery

Actility and Advantech launch a new AI-based intelligent predictive IoT solution focused on the maintenance of rotating machinery.

The partnership has developed an integrated AI-based solution, to support machine operation teams in helping to realize machine prognostics and health management. The system allows the monitoring of multi-systems statuses all in a single display or occurrence. The results are seen that day, or over a seven-day period in the machine healthy index, which includes an ISO 10816 rating and degradation level.

A Predictive Model for Just About Everything

IoT is exploding onto the scene, around the globe. It is in all our homes, cars, workplaces, and industries. The industrial space is rapidly becoming a predictive model, where robot vehicles, picker-packers, and networks of arms are building the next generation of devices.

Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things work for hand in glove at the edge. The predictive model is taking maintenance away from the teams of engineers, who were tasked with finding, diagnosing, and then rectifying problems in machinery, are now waiting for sensors to record anomalies and then go repair the machine before there are lengthy downtime scenarios to deal with.

Vibration sensors, temperature, and humidity, control systems, all play a role in keeping the modern factory building, storing, or creating the goods we need. Services are only necessary when trouble is reported through analytics and data analysis. Regular maintenance can be handled routinely, without coming upon trouble unexpectedly. The predictive model is changing the way,

All systems in industry and life are being monitored for trouble. Leading to a more productive future and a more predictable life.
