Nuvoton Technology has launched a new NuMicro M031BT series: a low-power BLE 5.0 and 2.4GHz dual-mode MCU series based on an Arm Cortex-M0 core operating up to 48MHz, with up to 128KB flash and 16KB SRAM. In addition to the BLE 5.0 and 2.4GHz RF functions providing wireless connectivity, the NuMicro M031BT series offers built-in peripherals and analog functions and precise control functions.

IAR Systems has announced that its complete development toolchain IAR Embedded Workbench now supports GigaDevice’s GD32 Arm-based MCUs. In June 2020, IAR Systems and GigaDevice announced their partnership for RISC-V. This partnership is now extended into delivering development tools for Arm Cortex-M3, Cortex-M4, Cortex-M23 and Cortex-M33 MCUs.

Renesas Electronics has expanded its RA4 Series with the new 32-bit RA4M3 Group of MCUs. The RA4M3 MCUs boost operating performance up to 100 MHz using the Arm Cortex-M33 core based on Armv8-M architecture. The RA4M3 Group makes it easy to develop safe and secure IoT edge devices for low-power applications, such as security, metering, industrial and HVAC applications, says Renesas.
