Renesas Electronics has announced the expansion of its collaboration with Honda in the field of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Honda adopted Renesas’ R-Car automotive system on a chip (SoC) and RH850 automotive MCU for its Honda SENSING Elite system featured in the Legend. Now Honda has again selected R-Car and RH850 for use in the Honda SENSING 360 omnidirectional safety and driver assistance system.
STMicroelectronics has announced automotive microcontrollers optimized for electric vehicles and centralized (domain and zonal) electronic architectures. ST’s Stellar E MCUs, designed for the next generation of software-defined EVs, integrate high-speed control-loop processing on-chip.
Infineon and SeniML Team for IoT Designs on PSoC MCUs
Infineon Technologies is collaborating with SensiML. Together they offer developers an easy and seamless process to capture data from Infineon XENSIV sensors, train Machine Learning (ML) models and deploy real-time inferencing models directly on Infineon’s low power PSoC 6 MCUs.
Brian has lots of experience designing lab instruments from his university days. But that was before modern MCUs were available that have rich sets of analog functions on-chip. Here, Brian steps through how to design lab instruments using the Infineon (formerly Cypress) PSoC 5LP MCU.
Intel announced a 4-20 core Xeon D-2700 and 2-10-core D-1700 with up to 3.0GHz/3.5GHz clock, Intel DL Boost for AI, Intel TCC and TSN, 100GbE LAN and up to 32 PCIe Gen4 lanes. The processors are designed for the software-defined network and edge applications in space- and power-constrained ruggedized environments.
