Renesas Electronics has expanded its ZMOD4410 Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) sensor platform with the what it claims is the industry’s first software-configurable IP67-qualified waterproof option for IAQ applications operating in wet or dirty environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, and hospital rooms, where they are frequently exposed to water, oils and dust.

TDK has made available the Chirp CH201 long-range ultra-low power integrated ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) range sensor platform. The solution includes the CH201 MEMS sensor, sensor modules and developer kits––and accompanies Chirp’s original CH101 ultrasonic ToF sensor product. CH101 provides accurate range measurements for use cases scenarios of up to 1.2m, and the new CH201 builds to provide exact long-range measurements to targets at distances up to 5m.

ON Semiconductor’s expanded XGS family of image sensors with high performance, low noise products now includes sensors that offer 12-bit image quality at a high frame rate. The offerings include the XGS 45000, the XGS 30000 and the XGS 20000, which provide detailed imaging with up to 45 Mpixel for resolution critical applications and up to 60 fps in 8K video mode.
