Travel ban: The New Orleans City Council has passed a temporary ban on travel by the mayor and other city officials, a response to Mayor LaToya Cantrell's decision to back out of a multi-million agreement with the school system. James Finn has the story.
Tragic deaths: Two tragic deaths in Baton Rouge were revealed to have local ties Wednesday, with a Southern University student from Kenner found dead in a park and an LSU track athlete from Slidell killed in a car crash. Aidan McCahill has what we know about Caleb Wilson, 20, the son of a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputy, while Bob Warren spoke with the former coach of 18-year-old Dillon Reidenauer.
Layoffs at Michoud: Boeing will lay off 89 employees at its Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans East. As Stephanie Riegel reports, the layoffs raise fresh doubts about the future of the program, which would have New Orleans playing a role in getting astronauts back to the Moon.
