Lafayette Consolidated Government officials asked for patience during a Thursday meeting last week as Lafayette Mayor-President Monique Boulet's new administration takes action to address problems at the housing complex at 804 Martin Luther King Drive.

City-Parish Attorney Pat Ottinger outlined steps that have taken place and what will happen next, which could include a meeting this week with representatives of the ownership group, Texas-based nonprofit American Agape Foundation.
