Friday 25 February 2022 Mayor's MessageWelcome to the February edition of Wanneroo Link. It is set to be a busy month in the City, with several exciting events coming up. The City’s Community Art Awards and Exhibition is on until 14 April at the Wanneroo Gallery. The exhibition features over 150 artworks in a variety of categories including painting, works on paper, sculpture, and a brand new category of photo, film and digital media. Our events season is in full swing, with Symphony under the Stars on this Saturday 26 February, followed by Wanneroo Festival on Saturday 19 March. I am particularly looking forward to the upcoming Wanneroo Business Expo on Thursday 17 March. The partnership between the City and the Wanneroo Business Association celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and critical contributions our local businesses make to the success and vibrancy of our community.
