Battle brewing: Despite their differing philosophies, Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams has made room for Attorney General Liz Murrill's office to operate in New Orleans, and the state's role is expected to get even larger in the coming months. But another disagreement is flaring up over Williams' office's work releasing people early from prison. John Simerman has the details. Foster care woes: Louisiana's agency that cares for foster children is under fire again for allegedly not meeting the basic needs of kids taken into the system and helping them find homes. Andrea Gallo has this report. Field of dreams: A long-planned athletic stadium for the 9th Ward took a significant step toward construction recently thanks to $2.5 million in federal pandemic funds.
