Adaptable-Dwelling, Seismic Provisions Take Effect March 10

Apply for the Asset Management Planning Program

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Asset Management Planning program. Receive up to $25K towards asset management planning. The application deadline is May 23, 2025.

The intent of the Asset Management Planning program is to assist local governments in delivering sustainable services by extending and deepening asset management practices within their organizations, recognizing their size, complexity, current status and individual needs. 

The 2025 Asset Management Planning program can provide up to 50% of total project costs to the grant maximum ($25,000). The remainder is required to be funded through community contributions.

All local governments (municipalities, regional districts, and the Islands Trust) in BC are eligible to apply. For more information, visit: www.ubcm.ca/lgps/asset-management-planning

Member Award Nominations Now Open

The LGMA Member Awards are now open for nominations. Do you know of a local government colleague who has exemplified professional leadership, innovation or community and volunteer service recently? You are encouraged to nominate your colleagues who are deserving of such recognition.

Review the Membership Policy (section 3, Awards for Members) to see all awards categories and submit your nomination before May 2. Award winners will be announced on June 12 at our 2025 Annual Conference Awards Ceremony.
