Call for Projects: UBC Sustainability Scholars Summer 2025 Program

The UBC Sustainability Hub invites you to submit a project proposal for the summer 2025 Sustainability Scholars program.

The Sustainability Scholars program provides graduate students and project partners a unique opportunity to co-investigate solutions to real-world sustainability problems. Scholars benefit from the opportunity to work with a mentor and apply their academic program knowledge and research skills in ways that contribute to advancing the partner organization’s sustainability goals.

Funding and work direction is provided by the partner organization, and the recruitment and logistics are handled by the UBC Sustainability Scholars Program Manager. This is a great opportunity to tap into the enthusiasm and expertise of a grad student to help advance some of your sustainability-related work! The proposal deadline for the summer 2025 program is November 15.

For more information about the program, costs, how to propose a project and to view previous projects, visit Sustainability Scholars Program (ubc.ca).
