BIG Difference BC is a highly anticipated regional conference celebrating behavioural science in all its forms.The event brings together behavioural insights experts from government, academia, non-profit organizations, and industry to share case studies, best practices, and lessons learned. This is the fourth conference and it’s shaping-up to be a great one!
 
This year the event will be co-hosted by the BC Behavioural Insights Group, Decision Insights for Business and Society at UBC Sauder, and WorkSafeBC. Together we are excited to present a fully virtual and free program on Using Behavioural Insights to Encourage Positive Behaviour ChangeOur keynote speaker will be Eldar Shafir. Dr. Shafir is a psychologist who studies decision-making, cognitive science, and behavioral economics in the areas of poverty and behavioural public policy.

SPRING 2021 HIGHLIGHTS: CORPORATE ADMINISTRATION and MANAGEMENT COURSES:

Capilano U’s PADM 209 Corporate Administration course is unique in BC and will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills you need to be more effective in your work. Topics include bylaw drafting, applying parliamentary law and meeting rules of order, public consent processes, Freedom of Information requests, elections, records management and more.
