Ohio’s weekly unemployment claims hit all-time low
The number of Ohioans filing for unemployment is the lowest on record after a large week-to-week drop. However, the reason why is hard to pinpoint. The week of Nov. 21, 39,653 people filed a claim for unemployment to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS). While 7,519 Ohioans filed a new claim, 8,265 people stopped filing from the week before.
