Climb an iconic London landmark for GOSH CharitySign up now for 50% off!
Calling all challenge-seekers and London view enthusiasts! The Walkie Talkie Tower Climb is back. Brought to you by Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity), this annual event sees participants run, jog, or walk up all 896 stairs of 20 Fenchurch Street — affectionately known as the Walkie Talkie — in aid of a fantastic cause. This year’s Walkie Talkie Tower Climb takes place on Saturday 8 March. We’ve set out a few reasons to give it a go below. Don’t mull over it too long though — if you sign up by 31 January using the code NY50, you can nab 50% off your registration fee! Support an incredible charityIf you take on the Walkie Talkie Tower Climb, you’ll be asked to try and raise £250 in sponsorship. Every single penny will go to GOSH Charity, helping to give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. The money you raise could help fund groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, the rebuilding and refurbishment of child-centred facilities, or essential support services for children and their families. How’s that for motivation? Celebrate in the Sky GardenOn event day, 36 floors will stand between you and panoramic views of London. Your finish line is the Sky Garden — a lush, succulent-filled oasis with 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, and the capital’s highest public garden. Inside, you’ll be greeted with a medal and a celebratory drink, and there are further refreshments available to purchase from the Sky Garden’s restaurants and bars. Sign up now for half the usual priceIn addition to your fundraising pledge, you're also asked to pay a registration fee, to help cover event costs. Usually, this is £30 but if you sign up by 31 January you can nab 50% off using the code NY50. Once signed up, you'll receive a race pack in the post, including a bespoke t-shirt, race number and timing chip, so you can see how fast you zoom up the Walkie Talkie come event day.
