Today, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a State Health Official (SHO) letter to provide states with policy and operational guidance to implement the extension of Medicaid eligibility, as required by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, to the citizens of the Freely Associated States living in the United States under the Compacts of Free Association (COFA).
