Farmers in Iowa are starting the week with highs in the 20s, making it hard to dry frozen corn, says AgDay National Reporter Betsy Jibben.

The company announced the change on Nov. 11, which is effective immediately.

Farmers brought in 25 combines as well as many grain carts, tractors, and semis to bring in 900 acres of corn to the Bradford Landus Cooperative location.

“Some of our customers are just selling futures,” said Jim McCormick with AgMarket.net. “The other thing we are looking at using is the June short-dated options.”
