Free Workshop - Better Meetings

Residents, groups and clubs in the City of Cockburn are invited to a free training session on how to run Better Meetings.

This workshop is scheduled for Wednesday 9 June, 6.30-8.30pm at Harvest Lakes Community Centre and includes a light supper. It is suitable for anybody who is seeking to learn tools and techniques to make your meetings fun, engaging and effective. See poster attached and below for more information.

Powering Communities Program 

Grants available for up to $12,000 for small projects for not-for-profit community organisations to improve their energy efficiency practices and technologies.

Keep Australia Beautiful - Community Litter Grants

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for major initiatives or regional projects, with grants of up to $5,000 available for local area projects.  The grants provide financial assistance for action and education on litter with $60,000 available.

Free Photocopying/Printing

All Cockburn not for profits are eligible to receive 500 free photocopies per month. Save money and time by printing flyers, posters (A4 & A3), constitutions, volunteer training documents, newsletters and other volunteer documents.

Email volunteering@cockburn.wa.gov.au to book a time to do your printing. Please note one week’s notice is required.
