Celebrate being Aussie

It's free, fun and celebrates being Australian. There's also free brekky snags (while stocks last) and building a sandcastle could win you a family pass to Rottnest!

To keep our event safe for you and your family, water amusements/rides have been removed to reduce queues and allow for more space.

There is still lots happening including entertainment by the Milford St Shakers, Two Cent Professionals and the Jazzie Shazzie Children's Show, mermaids on the beach and more.

Wednesday 26 January 2022, 8am-midday
Coogee Beach Reserve, Coogee.

Ocean Adventure Show for Kids

Curtis and Martha’s Litter Less Ocean Adventure Show teaches children aged 3 to 7 about the impact littering has on our environment, with an emphasis on ocean and beach littering. Our bright, engaging characters will take children on a journey using story, song and dance with education and learning woven throughout.

We invite you to join Curtis the Crab, Martha the Mermaid and Teddy the Turtle as they introduce children to the issue of littering in oceans and how they can play an active role in decreasing environmental harm.  After the show Curtis the Crab and Martha the Mermaid lead the children on a litter collecting adventure using their very own 'Litter Hunter' kits that they get to take home after.

Each weekend in January at Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Coogee.
