The Change Makers National Volunteer Week Toolkit

National Volunteer Week just around the corner!
NVW is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering with thousands of events and activities held across the country during 15 – 21 May 2023.

This year's theme is THE CHANGE MAKERS, and represents our power to drive change and ensure volunteering is inclusive of all members of the Australian community.

Volunteer involving organisations can now proudly promote NVW celebrations with a handy toolkit.
Created by Volunteering WA, this NVW Toolkit is a one stop shop of nifty resources to help increase awareness of the vital role volunteers play in our lives.

Volunteering Thrives at Coogee Live

A festival centred around the community with a backdrop of the stunning coastal strip of Cockburn and Coogee Beach, Coogee Live was the perfect event for a Volunteering Expo.  It was lovely to see everyone who came down to say hi to us over the two beautiful sunny days.
Our new jobs board was a massive hit and judging from the long line of kids, the spin the wheel was too.

A HUGE thank you to all the Volunteering Involving Organisations that held a stall over the weekend.
The stalls were a great reflection of the diverse organisations that are the lifeblood of our community.

Thank you to the organisations that made the event such a success:

Save The Children
Cockburn Chinese Community Association
The Women's Shed
Free The Bears
The Hub
St Patricks
Lions Club of Atwell
Jandakot Lakes Lions
Good Sammy's
