About Us

Helping Cockburn volunteering thrive

If you've popped into the Volunteer Resource Centre lately you would have noticed a new plant or two and some fresh new faces.

Kristine Thomson joined the City as the VRC Coordinator. Bringing with her a multitude of skills and volunteering experience from the environmental sector, Kris has a passion for biodiversity, conservation and is now striving to keep her office plants alive.

New to her team as the VRC Officer is Tracey Armstrong. Tracey has returned to Perth after working in Fiji for the past four years. Besides sipping coconuts in a hammock Tracey has racked up many years of volunteering from chief toastie maker in sporting club canteens to cooking lessons for migrants and refugees.

"Our mission is to help volunteers and our community organisations to thrive."
Kristine and Tracey

You can catch up with Kristine and Tracey at our Volunteer Expo, Coogee Live or make an appointment to see us at the Volunteer Resource Centre situated next to the Senior's Centre.
