What’s next for Instagram, Oculus, and the controversial Portal.

Code Conference 2019

Hi,

Facebook has spent the past year fighting off controversies, swapping out some of its leaders, and announcing a major strategy pivot.

What’s next for one of the biggest companies in tech?

To find out, we’re bringing two of the company’s most crucial executives to Code:

Adam Mosseri runs Instagram, the photo-sharing site that’s become vital to Facebook’s user and advertising growth story. And Andrew Bosworth heads up the group that oversees key Facebook hardware initiatives, including its Oculus virtual reality program and its Portal video-call products.

Both men are key leaders at Facebook who can offer important context about the changes the company is going through: Before running Instagram, Mosseri led Facebook’s core News Feed operation, and Bosworth has been involved with the company in several different capacities, most recently its ads platform. They’ll be able to talk about many parts of the company — which is good, because we’ve got lots of questions.

You can join us June 10-12 for that talk and many more at Code’s new location — The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Kara and Peter
