Shifting business models, pivoting a massive organization — he’ll talk about it all
| Hi, The world needs great journalism. The world also needs media companies with functional business models. Meet someone who is figuring out how to do both things at the same time: New York Times publisher A. G. Sulzberger, who is guiding the world’s most storied newspaper. Sulzberger started running the family business a little more than a year ago, and he has had a full plate ever since: His journalists are shining spotlights on parts of the world that desperately need it, his business executives are figuring out how to convert readers into paying subscribers, and the president of the United States keeps asking him to stop by the White House. We have questions about all of that, and much more. So we’re delighted that Sulzberger will be joining us onstage at Code this year. You can join us June 10-12 for that talk and many more at Code’s new location — The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kara and Peter |
