The criminals are demanding $20 million in ransom or the data will be leaked. Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong, responded by speaking directly to the criminals and explaining what the company was going to do about the situation in the video linked below. | Much of the media is reporting this as a “hack,” which seems disingenuous.
