Collin Kettell Talks of Plans for Nevada King GoldIf retail investors are not paying attention, professional gold investors are!
I interviewed Collin Kettell, the Founder, CEO and board member of Nevada King this past week, after the company announced an updated resource that more than doubled the size of its resource to over 1 million gold equivalent ounces. You can watch my interview which premieres at 3:00 PM New York time on Saturday June 7 here. You might expect the market would have responded favorably to that kind of news. Instead it somehow considered it a negative! There are reasons why management, which owns 31% of the company, and a growing number of institutions that collectively own 11% of Nevada King are not selling their shares. In my view, the retail market’s response which contrasted with the smart money may offer an opportunity for alert investors. I interviewed Collin Kettell the Founder, CEO and a director of Nevada King to learn why management remains optimistic and institutions are becoming more interested in this story. Upgrade to paidNevada King just announced that it has doubled its gold equivalent resource (including a small amount of silver) to 1,109,600 ounces with an average gold equivalent grade of 1.2 grams/tonne at its Atlanta Gold Mine project in southeastern Nevada. The fact that a grade of 1.2 grams/tonne is considerably higher than most similar open pit oxide projects in Nevada alone is worth noting. But as Collin explains, there is considerably more upside exploration potential to turn the Atlanta Gold project into a multi-million ounce gold project that will attract the attention of major gold mining suitors. In my view, with a market cap of only ~US$50 million, Nevada King deserves more attention. Collin is also co-founder of New Found Gold Corp. (2016) and of Palisades Goldcorp Ltd. (2013), a Canadian resource investment company. Since I cover both of those companies as well, I hope to interview Collin on both of them in the near future. I hope you enjoy and profit from my discussion with Collin. Best wishes, Jay Taylor J Taylor's Gold Energy & Tech Stocks is a reader-supported publication.
