Columbia businesses weathering COVID-19 storm

Area business owners have found ways to adapt during the pandemic, now stretching into its seventh month. Some are even growing, though many await news of a potential second round of federal relief.

Hire Me SC employer summit to be held online Oct. 7

The event, a partnership of Able South Carolina and the SC Disability Employment Coalition, will coincide with the 75th observance of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Speakers will include Colonial Life CEO Tim Arnold.

COVID-19 testing expanded with 2 new Columbia sites

Free testing will be available at Founders Park and at Martin Luther King Jr. Park until Oct. 3. Registration is available online, and results will be available in as little as three days, according to a news release.
