| Columbia Chamber of Commerce to honor local businesses The 2021 Columbia Impact Awards will honor contributions to the business community and projects which contribute to the character of the Midlands. The event will feature a keynote address from the president of Mark Anthony Brewing. Duke Energy deposits $5 million into Columbia bank Duke Energy deposited $5 million into Black-owned Optus Bank at the end of 2020. Columbia-based Optus, one of 20 minority-owned banks in the country, will use the funding to provide capital loans and financial services for minority-owned businesses. |
