Fall is a very special time of year as it brings with it the start of the Dia de Los Muertos traditions. The land starts to glisten with yellows, golds, oranges, reds and browns as every one starts to prepare to welcome fall. The Chicano and Latino communities have been keeping Dia de Los Muertos traditions alive for hundreds and even thousands of years, and it is beautiful to see them flourishing today. This is a time of remembrance, celebration and community. CHAC Gallery is honored to hold space for the community during this sacred time and help keep these traditions alive.
CHAC has several education workshops that we invite you to consider attending for Dia de Los Muertos. CHAC Members are being e-mailed discount codes for being a member. Our CHAC master artists are teaching Mini Altars, Calaveras and Catrina Masks this year!
