Join Barbara Snyder in the Structure in Bloom exhibition as we continue our exploration of recent photography acquisitions. Barbara is a self-educated photographer. Her work is deeply personal and focused on the full cycle of creation to destruction. Reflecting on her Catholic upbringing her work sometimes draws on the metaphysical in life. She has shown in numerous national exhibitions and was a recipient of the 2014 and 2017 North Carolina Regional Artists Grant. Snyder lives and works in Wilmington, North Carolina and serves on the board of the Cape Fear Camera Club.

Join special guests from GLOW (Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington) and GRITS (Girls Rocking In the South) as they lead fun and creative hands on activities. Inspired by our exhibition Elizabeth Bradford: A House of One Room, these young ladies will help families to create nature inspired art works, including flower crowns and other crafts. Registration includes free admission to explore CAM’s current exhibitions. Kids@CAM is fun for the whole family, and parental supervision is required at all times.
