S.C. tourism revenues down $5.2 billion

South Carolina’s tourism industry is down 43% since February, according to year-over-year data estimates by Tourism Economics.For the week of Oct. 25-31, state visitor spending dropped 32% to $99 million compared to the same week in 2019.

Santa Cruz Nutritionals expanding Sumter operations 

The $84 million expansion, expected to be complete by December 2024, will include a 120,000-square-foot warehouse and is expected to create 164 jobs.
