South Lake Christmas Fair
Shop for locally made handicrafts and enjoy free activities including live entertainment, glitter tattoos, bubbles, bouncy castle, bungee run and a visit from Santa!

Christmas Outdoor Movie Night in Atwell
Free family activities including face painting, lawn games, animal farm, puppet show, story time and coffee van fromn 5pm. Free sausage sizzle and ice cream at 6pm. Movie 'Arthur Christmas' at 7.30pm

Cooby Christmas Carols

Aveling is offering free access to skill-boosting courses from now until 10 January, for people seeking employment.

The courses are designed to provide essential skills to prepare workers to re-enter the workplace and hit the ground running.

Devastatingly for many families, Christmas will be all but cancelled this year.

The sad reality is that families that were struggling before the pandemic have been the hardest hit. They have also been joined by those who have lost their businesses and jobs and never saw it coming. You can help by donating to Foodbank.

Inspirational Volunteer Award Winners

This year, the Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to joint winners – Renae Barker, President of Cockburn Toy Library and Phil Charles, of Feed it Forward Maori Stylz WA. Second and third place was awarded to Lani Slaughter, President of Treeby Community Association, and Alex Wychelley of South Beach Community Association.
The Volunteer Organisation of the Year award went to Cooby Cares, with second and third place awarded to Yangebup Family Centre and the Cockburn Chinese Community Association.

We are looking for feedback on your experience and concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour in Cockburn. Tell us by completing our survey:
