Moving out: Harvey Gulf International, the offshore service firm run by Shane Guidry, is planning to pack up its headquarters in downtown New Orleans and head to Metairie. Guidry, a Republican megadonor who has long been involved in local politics, said the move was due to concerns about worker safety in the city. Breaking up: In other biz news, First Horizon, the bank that acquired Louisiana-based Iberia Bank in 2020, announced last year that it was being acquired by TD Bank. On Thursday, the banks called off the deal.
Cooling off: School is almost out and temperatures are rising. That means finding ways to cool off. Audubon Zoo is opening its Cool Zoo attraction on Saturday, and Kasey Bubnash has the details.
