In the past week I have read over 20 articles on “The Great Resignation.” This is what the “powers that be” are calling the phenomena of the huge amount of people who are quitting their jobs.

I believe a big reason for this is due to people viewing compensation differently than they did at the start of 2020.

At the start of 2020 compensation was viewed as a combination of pay and benefits like healthcare.

Now I believe people are focused on pay and benefits but also flexibility of schedule and support for quality of life.
