Fintech veteran, serial entrepreneur and diversity champion Amy Kadomatsu stopped by the Financial Planning podcast this week for a conversation about innovation, motivation and finding strength by lowering your guard.

As CEO of compliance software firm ComplySci, Kadomatsu spends a great deal of her time making sure industry compliance chiefs are ready for anything. But she's also spent 2022 winning awards for her work in the DEI space and making sure the next generation of underrepresented talent knows that a career in fintech or financial services doesn't have to be limited to a supporting role.

The conversation comes on the heels of the latest editorial research from Financial Planning's parent company, Arizent, that aims to understand how diverse groups experience their workplaces and how the different approaches to addressing diversity, equity and inclusion are affecting employees. The goal is to bring data points to DEI metrics not easily quantifiable and identify the areas that need the most improvement.

Check out the podcast, the latest DEI research from Arizent and more insider insight at Financial Planning.

Elsewhere, the latest edition of the Financial Planning Wealtech Weekly recap has fresh fintech news from TIFIN Wealth, Envestnet and Private Advisor Group.

Regards,
Justin
