Every year, the Institute of Museum and Library Services honors outstanding institutions that make significant and exceptional contributions to their communities. And every year, the Institute of Museum and Library Services also provides extraordinary support for communities through libraries and their patrons. And while the Institute of Museum and Library Services has played a major role in supporting our shared mission for more than 20 years, they are on the verge of losing vital federal funding.
