Construction chases BR Symphony from hall

with Kelly P. Kissel | Metro editor

Thanks for looking in. Here are some of our top headlines today:

Another day, another delay

The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra has had to change the site of tomorrow night's concert. The performance had been scheduled to reopen the River Center Theatre downtown, but the venue won't be ready because of additional renovation delays. Paul Cobler has our story on what happened now.

Raising Cane's closing downtown location

Without a drive-through window, the Raising Cane's location in downtown Baton Rouge suffered far worse amid the pandemic over the last couple of years. Now, the company is shuttering the location after failing to secure a satisfactory rental rate. Here's Tim Boone's story.

Danish pop star

A Danish pop star was heading to Louisiana today to meet her father for the first time. Zindy Laursen tried for 30 years to track down the man and found him in Zachary. Frances Spencer tells that story.

Check back later for more news.
