Recently, our publisher Rick Jenkins had coffee with…Krista Newkirk, the president of Converse College, soon to be Converse University. Converse College, located in Spartanburg, was founded in 1889 as an all-women's college. Now, a co-educational institution, the school offers a wide variety of programs for business executives, including doctorate and master’s degrees, as well as continuing education options for those still pursuing an undergrad degree.
