Zachary cop meets pop star daughter

A retired Zachary police officer has met the daughter he never knew he had. She's a pop singer in Denmark. Zindy Laursen spent three decades trying to track down her father and found him through DNA testing. Frances Spencer wrote this story for us. 

Another salvo in fight over St. George

More than two years after voters in the southeastern portion of East Baton Rouge Parish said they wanted to create a new city of St. George, lawyers for the parish say the matter wasn't put on the ballot in the proper form. Washington Mardi Gras
