| Michelin begins phased shutdown of some plants Michelin North America Inc. has begun a temporary "phased" shutdown of some it its tire production plants in the United States and Canada in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Michelin's Lexington plant employs around 1,400 people. Miami-based private equity group acquires 1333 Main St. Galium Capital LLC acquired the 224,315-square-foot building in Columbia’s central business district for $29.35 million. The building, home to tenants including Ameris Bank and CBRE, is Galium’s first Columbia acquisition. |
